Essential Oil - Grapefruit

Our pink Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) essential oil has a fresh, sweet citrus smell that is very characteristic of the fruit. This uplifting oil eases tension from an overworked nervous system.

Best ways to use Grapefruit essential oil:

• Direct Palm / Nasal Inhaler: Place a drop of oil in the palm of your hand, gently rub the hands together, cup your hands around your nose and take a deep breath in through the nose. You can also add several drops to nasal inhaler and breathe in throughout the day. You can repeat multiple times though out the day.
• Diffuser: Grapefruit is a wonderful oil to add to a diffuser.  Use it to freshen the air and to lift the spirits.

blends well with other members of the citrus family, rosemary, cypress, lavender, rose geranium, and most spice oils

Cautions:  Grapefruit essential oil is potentially phototoxic so do not apply before going out into sunlight. Grapefruit could be irritating for some skin types. Do not apply directly to the eyes or mucous membranes.
